Lakeside Place

In addition to the low lake level which produce the incredibly large island between Lakeside Place and Pelican Bay, the hydrilla has clogged the remaining waterway. Property owners who keep their jet skis at home must push them out to the open lake if they wish to use them!
One property owner is attempting to reclaim his area by laying a thick weed blocking cloth. We'll keep you posted as the project continues and whether or not it is effective. Certainly this may help in a small area, but we cannot cover the entire lake!
